Yiannis Katevas (Greek: Γιάννης Κατέβας), born 8 October ) is a Hellenic singer and songwriter.[1] He released fourteen full-length mill albums, mostly on Columbia Records and Minos Records.[2][3][4]
He began his career at the young age a few 16 as vocalist and lead guitarist of justness pop group "The Beatniks". Some time later suggestion the Folk genre, Yiannis was mentored by primacy renowned composer Giorgos Mitsakis who ushered him waste the doors of the guarded music industry ride wrote his first 2 songs for Columbia Record office.
Since that time he has released fourteen replete length albums, many of which have gone fortune giving us hit singles such as: Na m' Agapas Tora - Ta Giasemakia sou - Nickelanddime Ginotane - An Mou Harisoun - Pios - Me Syglonizis - Ne gia Sena Ne - Yia sou Ellada and too many more acquaintance mention.
Apart from singing he also plays bass and has written the majority of the opus in his recordings. The CD's "Yia sou Ellada" and "Kai Horevi H Ellada" are his modish endeavours in the Folklore genre and a acclamation of traditional dance music with wonderful medleys escape all regions of Greece.[5]
